Being new to the area and going against my girlfriends advise, I went to Aspen dental for a deep cleaning, Some of the upfront charges they told me about was that I was going to have to pay over $100.00 for their reccomended tooth brush as well As $135.00 for oral care instructions. I made sure they were taken off. I was scheduled for 2 sessions With my insurance they were supposed to be around $250. a session. Instead my session yesterday cost $475.00 which included a charge for something I didn't even buy. Ifaxed the bill to my girlfriend who is a researcher, she had it compared it with various dentists in the area and was told that they were almost twice as high as they were supposed to be. I've found that going out of network is actually cheaper then going to Aspen and have had the inconvenience of having to reschedule my remaining work with a reputable dentist, I think Aspen is not only deceptive but disgraceful and should not be allowed to continue to operate.
